By providing your details you are agreeing to the Beer Festival Committee holding your details which will only be used for the purposes of contacting you in relation to the beer festival.

You can opt out at any time.

Check the box for where you can work the full hours for each session.

If you are volunteering for set-up/take down and you have safety gloves, safety shoes or a hard hat please bring these.

During set-up/take down days refreshments will be provided.

The following is the list of jobs that we have at the festival, if you have experience in an area please let us know. Anyone who does not enter a preference will generally be staffing on one of the bars and assisting with the entrance desk.

Please note the entrance desk is a vital part of the beer festival success and we need a team of enthusiastic volunteers who will be willing to oversee this important area. You may not think it’s as fun as serving beer but you get to meet all the happy punters and watch the main entertainment. We have an entrance staff ‘manager’, who will be overseeing the entrance. Our new custom built entrance stand in 2017 was a success ensuring a more comfortable environment for our volunteers. If you are unsure about what is involved or want to have a go but not for the whole shift, or if you are volunteering with a friend or family member and want to do the same job please contact us.

Whilst we will endeavour to accommodate all reasonable requests for you to work in a particular area(s) this cannot be guaranteed.

Please note you will receive training on the jobs volunteered for and support during the festival. 

Like previous years, there will be a free T-shirt for volunteers so please give your size.

 
T-shirts will be given for those volunteering for at least 4 hours and will be given out on a first come first served basis.

This will be provided in the Main Hall at Lunchtimes (The Wurlitzer) and each evening

Should you prefer to work in the Main Hall or the quieter Rear Hall then please indicate in ‘Special Information/Requests’. 

The festival will finish at 11.00pm on the Thursday and Friday and 10pm on the Saturday and we can arrange a taxi/lift home for those who have worked a number of hours to the close, and live in the Burton area.
