We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We are conducting a comprehensive survey to gather valuable insights and perspectives from orthopedic surgeons like yourself regarding treatment options for syndesmotic injuries.

The aim of this survey is to explore the current trends, controversies and variations surgical practices related to syndesmotic fixation associated with ankle fractures, among Indian orthopaedic surgeons.This study is done on behalf of Indian Foot and Ankle Society (IFAS)

Syndesmotic injuries, commonly encountered in orthopedic practice, have long been a subject of debate and controversy when it comes to their optimal treatment approach. Among the various treatment options available, one method that sparks considerable debate among orthopedic surgeons is syndesmotic screw fixation.The functional outcomes and the occurrence of complications following syndesmotic screw fixation have been extensively studied. Nonetheless, consensus on the superiority of this approach over alternative methods, such as suture-button devices, is yet to be reached.
