2021 FMT Section Leader Application
Thank you for applying to be considered as a section leader for the 2021-22 Fenton High School Marching Band.  Each year, section leaders are entrusted with many important duties and responsibilities that are critical to the success of the ensemble.  Be sure that you are applying for this position with the best intentions in mind.  Those should be the intentions to fulfill the needs of the band and of your section rather than of yourself.  What you gain from this position will be directly affected by what you put into it!  

Before completing this application, please make sure you are able to meet all the following requirements:

*100% attendance to all rehearsals and performances.

*Reliable transportation to all events.

*Will provide a positive attitude to all members of the FMT marching band and be a perfect role model for their section all the time.

*Willing to hold outside sectionals/team building activities to help in the growth of your section.  

*Knowledge and ability of how to create/setup a group chat for your section.

*Be able to lead by example and offer support and advice to all members of your section.

*Be a role model for all FMT members and show pride in the Fenton Music Program at all times.

Auditions will take place the week of April 19th before school, in the band room.

Please compose an essay of at least 3 to 4 paragraphs on why you deserve to be your sections section leader and what the Fenton High School Marching Tiger Band means to you? *
