As part of our "Black Work Matters" theme this summer, we will be hosting various speakers to discuss different aspects of black work in the United States - from its history to its continued impact. Through this series we hope to provide insight into the intersections between labor relations, racism, civil rights, and more.
We are excited to have ILR Professor Tristan Ivory join us as the final speaker for this series. He received his Ph.D. in 2015 from the Department of Sociology at Stanford University and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society at Indiana University. Professor Ivory will be discussing black workers in the global arena, and possible international models for the US in supporting black workers.
