As a requirement for participating in an Angling Spirit event, all participants must undertake a Spirit OF Angling shoreline cleanup. This activity can be performed along any shore, whether it's a lake, river, pond, or any other suitable location (if water is not accessible, any cleanup effort will be considered). To validate their completion of the cleanup, competitors are obliged to fill this form.
Participants are strongly encouraged to invite friends and family to join them, turning the shoreline cleanup into a delightful group activity. Capturing pictures during the cleanup is vital, as these photographs are necessary for the verification process. In case a participant faces mobility challenges, they are allowed to have a third party assist them in picking up litter, but it is essential that the participant themselves be present in the pictures as part of the requirement
After finishing the cleanup, participants are requested to create a public post on any of the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter. However, if a participant is a minor or has specific reasons necessitating a private account, they can still make the post from a public account within their family's possession.
Please take note that every participant is required to provide a distinct link for their post. Sharing a same post is only accepted if it is done as a genuine repost which has its unique link.
If any participant does not possess a social media account or has inquiries, they can reach out to media@anglingspirit.com for guidance.
Spirit OF Angling ultimate goal is to unite people through the inclusive activities of fishing and environmental cleanup to provide a better world for tomorrow generations.
