SERC is hosting a virtual UROP fair on SEPT 7, 2021 at 4 PM! TL;DR: We're looking for researchers with open UROP positions related to ethical & responsible computing to give 3-5 minute lightning talks. Indicate your interest below!
NOTE: Although the deadline has passed and you may not receive a chance to present, please fill out the form if you wish to:
(1) have your project advertised your project with the event (as long as it falls under the SERC umbrella)
(2) be put on a waitlist for lightning talks if a spot opens up.
--
DEADLINE: 11:59 PM ET, AUGUST 20
The fair is virtual and will begin with lightning talks on open UROP projects. Depending on the schedule, each lightning talk will be 3-5 minutes. We'll then break out into the fair portion of the event, during which undergrads will have the chance to chat with the speakers about their projects.
The fair is a great opportunity to find a UROP as well as share what you're working on with other members of the ethical computing community! All that is required is your on-the-day participation.
If you're interested in advertising a project to UROPs, fill out the form below.
We welcome projects from any and all departments at MIT that fall under the scope of SERC.
