NEW IN 2024: Visit Canton provides free Frontline Training and Attraction Familiarization lessons to staff and volunteers of our tourism partner organizations. The STAR Passport will replace our previous paper format passport and "STAR Swag Bag" program which provided free admission, giveaways, coupons, and experiences to the students who have completed the training.
By providing a free admission, or discount if
you don’t have an admission fee, you are allowing our Stark County frontline
staff to experience your attraction through the lens of a visitor so they can
better recommend experiences and assist guests! It is important that our frontline staff to have
firsthand knowledge of the attractions they’re recommending to visitors.
To ensure that only Frontline Students are accessing
this pass, we are building a few safeguards:
- The
pass will be hidden on our website; only students who have completed the
training will be given the link to find the pass.
- Each
student will be given a unique Promo Code to access the pass; therefore,
no pass sharing will be possible.
- The
Pass will expire 90 days after the user signs up, ensuring that students visit
attractions in a timely manner after their frontline training is complete.
- Like
the VIP Savings Pass, deals can be added or changed at any time. We
encourage you to put your best offer forward and maintain that offer,
however we understand that there may be offers that need to change in the
case of partners that don’t have an admission fee and are offering
something that may be seasonal.
- Our
goal is to be able to offer this pass year-round and to continue to build
the opportunities for our frontline staff to experience our community as a
visitor would!
