Dear colleagues,

The one thing we really miss in these virtual meeting times is to actually see each other and feel the community of people who care for sustainability. We know, you feel it too.

We cannot replace the “HLPF vibe” with chats over coffee in the UN Vienna Café, the meet-ups in lobbies or the after-work drinks on rooftops. And we cannot replace the feeling of coming together and sharing a common space.

But we can try to build new ways, even more inclusive ways for our community in the online world.

So, for HLPF 2021 we would like to invite you, civil society colleagues from all over world, to our first online “SDG Community Meet-Up”.

With the browser-based, online platform wonder.me, we hope to have found a tool that provides the feeling of a bit more of an informal, lively and spontaneous exchange. https://www.wonder.me/ 

In three 30-minute meet-ups throughout the HLPF weeks, we invite you to join us in this space, meet new people, discuss our experiences and impressions or simply chat with colleagues and friends.

There is no limitation to the number of participation, but please register so we can provide a safe space for everyone. You will receive the link and password after registration. The platform is unfortunately only usable with a computer or laptop - not a mobile phone or tablet. It provides audio, video and chat functions.
