Use this form to apply to be a member of Mission Peak District's Fall Camporee 2023 Youth Staff team.

The main responsibility of the Youth Staff will be setting up, running, and scoring all competitions, including field activities, campfire skits, and dutch oven desserts.
Youth Staff will camp separately from their units and will be fed by the Camporee, but the units will need to include them as part of the registration fee.
This year we would like to recruit a Youth Program Director who will manage the competitions, and a Youth Camp Director, who will manage all other parts of the Camporee.  If you would like to be considered for either or both positions, please indicate that in the appropriate boxes and tell us how you would like to improve the camporee.  

We expect you to be fully available from Friday, October 6, 2023 [early afternoon] to Sunday, October 8, 2023 [until Noon]. You may have to make special transportation arrangements on Sunday because Adult & Youth Staff only leave the campsite after the Ranger completes an inspection and confirms we are leaving the camp as we found it.

Applicants must hold First Class rank or higher AND be at least 14 yrs old as of October 6, 2023 and not yet 18 yrs old as of October 8, 2023.

Your application to be on the Youth Staff team requires your Scoutmaster’s approval. Completing this form and getting Scoutmaster approval is not a guarantee that you will be selected to be on the Youth Staff team. Adult leaders on the Fall Camporee team will select a Youth Camp Director and/or Youth Program Director from the applicants.

The last day to submit an application is Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
Interviews will take place during the week of August 20, 2023, via Zoom.

Qualifications / Preferences -  This is an optional question. Let us know if you have any qualifications provided by third party agencies which might be relevant to Camporee activities - for example: radio operator, first responder, etc.  Additionally, if you have a special area of interest such as Chaplain's Aide, Medical Assistant, let us know. If necessary, we'll follow up with you to get more details.
