The purpose of the South Gwinnett High School Local School Council is to encourage the participation of parents and others within the school community to improve student achievement and performance. In addition, the School Council maintains a school-wide perspective and serves as a link between the Local School Council and the community.

We will be accepting two parent/business owner nominations starting Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 through Monday, March 21, 202 @ 12:00pm. The local school council voting will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 through Wednesday, March 30, 2022 by online survey on the SGHS website.

In the event you are nominating someone other than yourself, please verify with the nominee that he/she is aware that their term will be for a minimum of two years. The SGHS Local School Council will meet four times a school year.
