Under the auspices of the Arnhold Institute for Dance Education Research, Policy & Leadership, Morningside DanceWorX is a teaching laboratory and recreational dance program led by dance education students since at least 1966. With the mission to offer diverse, inclusive, student-centered, and humanizing “Dance for All” pedagogy to the TC, Columbia, Barnard, Morningside Heights, and Harlem community, Morningside DanceWorX offers studio classes and workshops that celebrate diverse dance traditions and actualize innovative, exploratory, or interdisciplinary approaches.
