I understand as a volunteer I shall be furnished with a Fest ground access pass to work areas.  If I work a day shift I shall receive a free one-day general admission access pass (valued at $75) to be used immediately following the end of their shift.  If I work an evening or  night shift I shall receive a free one-day general admission access pass (valued at $75) to use a different day by coming back to the volunteer check-in office.  Access passes are not transferable and may not be used prior to completing the volunteer shifts. As a volunteer, I shall receive a free parking pass (valued at $12) for each day worked.   *

I understand as a volunteer working the entire festival (Thursday, Friday, & Saturday), I am eligible to camp in the nonelectric general campground at a reduced rate of $50 for the weekend rather than the full price of $95.  If I choose to camp, I will also be provided a campground access band (valued at $30) at no additional cost.  Volunteers working both festivals in their entirety are eligible to camp in the nonelectric general campground for free (valued at $220).  Up to six (6) people per campsite are allowed (must have wristband - $30 each unless volunteering all 3 days).  Children's Charities must be notified of volunteers who qualify and want to camp at least two (2) weeks prior to each music festival.  Campsites are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.  Campsites are non-transferable and non-refundable.   *

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOTAPING: I understand that photographs and videos of me may be collected and used for marketing and promotional purposes. I give permission to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, and use any photos, videos, interviews, or personal information captured while volunteering.   *
LOCATION OF SERVICES: I understand that volunteer work may be done in a variety of locations and agree to arrive on time via my own transportation. *

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES: I understand I am volunteering for a nonprofit organization and as a volunteer I will not be compensated financially for work being done.  I understand and agree that volunteering in any funding efforts, providing personal or solicited donations, and promoting fundraising events and activities is essential to Children's Charities and I will provide support accordingly as a Fest volunteer.  I further understand and agree that my volunteer service is “at will”. *

I certify that the information provided is true and complete to the best of my knowledge.  I authorize the investigation of all information provided.  I understand that this application is not, and is not intended to be, a contract of approved volunteer services, and that any volunteering is strictly “at will.”  I understand I am engaging in these volunteer services voluntarily and release all personal and professional liabilities.  I release Children's Charities, inc from any claims or demands that may be made during the participation of activities or services. *
VOLUNTEER EXPECTATIONS
All shifts are volunteer positions and no funds shall be paid directly to any individual volunteer.  Every volunteer must be on-site thirty (30) minutes prior to their scheduled shift to allow for time to check in, get wrist bands, park vehicles, and get to work site.  Volunteers are to be working in their assigned position and location during their entire shift.  Volunteers shall provide good service to customers and refrain from any questionable or inappropriate behaviors.  While volunteers are allowed to drink water and fountain gun soda provided to them at no cost while working their scheduled shift, they are not allowed to drink any alcoholic beverages while working.  Volunteers are responsible for having all food/drink tickets purchased at Fest to be marked by a Children's Charities, inc manager to minimize the risk of stolen tickets or suspicion of theft.  In the event that Children's Charities deems any volunteer needs to be dismissed from their duties and/or removed from the grounds for any reason, volunteers agree to cooperate fully.  Further, volunteers understand and agree to cooperate fully with any subsequent prosecution deemed necessary against any volunteer found to be improperly taking tickets, product, money, or behaving inappropriately, etc.  Any such individual will be denied further access to the festival grounds as a volunteer worker and may be prosecuted.  

Encouragement of patrons to give tips is strictly prohibited.  No receptacles for tips shall be put out.  In the event a patron does give a tip, whether cash, tickets or other means, shall be given to the manager on-site.  All tips received are property of Chippewa Valley Music Festivals and Children's Charities, inc.  Tips are included in the financial totals for the festivals and are used to offset costs of broken, stolen, and misserved product and to support the donations to organizations.
