The "Test-in" exam will be offered at each middle school on May 7, 2024, during the school day.  The exam should take no more than 2 hours.  Once registered, students will be provided additional information about exam day and preparation.  Students are expected to take the exam at their current middle school.  

Results from the "Test-in" exam, in conjunction with student's standardized test results (MCAs, FastBridge aMath, etc) and teacher recommendation will be used to determine course recommendation.  Students should expect to receive 85% or higher on the "Test-in" exam to be recommended into the accelerated course.  

Students currently not attending WPS middle schools are unable to register for Accelerated Math 7 or Accelerated Math 8 "Test-in" exam.  Course placement for students new to WPS will happen as part of new student enrollment process.
