Posting Approval Form
Please complete this form if you would like to hang posters at Davenport's W.A. Lettinga Campus in Grand Rapids. Submission of this form indicates you have read and understand the posting policy explained below.  

You are encouraged to submit your poster for approval PRIOR to printing to include the approval stamp and ensure that it meets necessary guidelines and is free from errors. 

Student Life will submit posters for RSOs to the copy center for printing. Please allow adequate time for completion prior to your event date - three weeks in advance is recommended.

Postings for external postings (not affiliated with Davenport) are limited to one bulletin board. Student Life will review, approve, print and hang your poster for you.

General Guidelines:

1.    Displayed content must be approved by Student life at least 2 weeks prior.

2.    Davenport University reserves the right to prohibit the posting of any items, for any reason, as it may determine in its sole discretion.

3.    Davenport University will not permit posters/displays containing content that is defamatory, libelous, obscene or harmful; content that is reasonably likely to cause substantial disruption of or material interference with University activities or the educational process; content that infringes upon the privacy or rights of others; content that violates copyright law; content that promotes activities, products or services that are unlawful illegal as defined by State or Federal law; and content that otherwise violates University policy and/or State or Federal law.

5.    Displayed material must follow copyright guidelines and university identity standards.

6.    Please allow up to 48 hours for the approval process to occur.

7.    The sponsoring organization/department is responsible for the timely removal of expired postings/displays.

All RSOs are encouraged to promote meetings and events in designated areas. However, RSO’s are limited in the promotion of controversial political and religious views to the campus community, including informational displays, exhibits, and interactive tabling on-campus property and will be required to seek advance approval from Student Life.

Student Life will print and post flyers for Registered Student Organizations. Please list the number of flyers requested and date needed. You must allow a minimum of 4 business days for printing.
