2023 Western Canadian Soaring Championships & Alberta Provincials Registration

The Cu Nim Gliding Club is hosting the 2023 Western Canadian Soaring Championships & Alberta Provincials. The Western Canadian Soaring Championship will be held Sunday, May 14 - Sunday, May 21 and the Alberta Provincials will be held concurrently on Friday, May 19 to Sunday, May 21. Those flying the Western Canadians will also be entered in the Alberta Provincials and the same tasks will be flown.

Racing - May 15 - May 21
Mandatory pilots meeting - May 14th @ 7pm & May 18th for Provincials

Practice - May 14

Registration fee: $250
Late registration (After April 15): $350
Practice and contest tows: $45

Contest participation is open to all pilots with FAI Silver distance.

Shower, kitchen and camping facilities on site. Limited RV parking available.

By submitting a registration form you confirm that:
- you hold a license and medical that permits you to fly gliders in Canada
- your aircraft is legal to fly in Canada
- your parachute has been inspected and packed in line with CARs
- your glider carries a minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance
- you will sign a waiver before taking any flights at the Cu Nim Gliding Club
