Continue reading your novel of choice for at least 10 minutes a day. Think about how you could write a poem that connects to your novel in some way. Then, write a poem with the following requirements:
-12 line poem broken up into however many stanzas you would like
-A theme that matches your choice novel in some sort of way
-One metaphor (comparison not using like or as)
-One simile (comparison using like or as)
-One form of personification (giving a nonhuman object human qualities)
-One hyperbole (over-exaggeration)
-A rhyme scheme
