Shaler Area Virtual Instruction Option 21-22 School Year - K-8 Interest Survey
The Shaler Area School District recognizes the need to provide more learning options for our students and families to meet family obligations and learning styles. Beginning with the 2021-2022 school year, we will offer a virtual learning option to students in grades K-8. Students will have an opportunity to learn remotely with Shaler Area teachers delivering instruction and following the district curriculum. Students will experience a typical schedule of core content and elective classes.

Students will have 4 required in-person check-in points throughout the year on campus (one per each 9-week grading period and during state testing). Students may schedule additional in-person "check-ins" with their teachers as needed.

Complete one interest survey for each child in your household who may be interested in participating in virtual learning in the 2021-22 school year.  Interest surveys are due by May 1, 2021.
