Sanitary Products for VU International Students in Lockdown
COVID-19 has put students in vulnerable conditions with job losses and reduced shifts. Along with that, there are the added level 3 restrictions on movement outside the houses. Among those affected the most are the international students. Although there are good Samaritans helping international students by giving them food and accommodation needs, we would also like to give light on female students’ right to access menstrual health and hygiene as they are also a necessity during this lockdown.
To help them with this need, students of Master of International Community Development are conducting a survey to identify international students of Victoria University who need help and those who want to help. Through this, we will be able to establish a donation drive to provide sanitary products.
Your answers are highly confidential and if you decide you no longer wish to participate in the survey at any stage, you are free to do so and withdraw whatever information you might have passed on without any consequences.
Thank you!
