This award is for an individual who has offered amazing hospitality to visitors in the Drumheller region. Awards will be presented at the Celebration of Excellence on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

Submission Process
All nominations must be received by the Travel Drumheller Marketing Society no later than March 22, 2024 to be eligible. 
Selection Process
  • All nominated individuals will be sent a questionnaire to complete.
  • The questionnaires will be reviewed by the Travel Drumheller Tourism Excellence Awards Committee (TDTEA). The TDTEA will use a uniform rating system to determine a score for each nominee, based on the information provided by the nominee in the questionnaire. The nominees with the three top overall scores will constitute the finalists. 
  • Finalists will be notified by the end of April.
  • From these three finalists, a single winner will be determined.
  • Winners will be announced at the 2024 Celebration of Excellence on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the Badlands Community Facility. Each finalist will receive 1 free ticket to the event; additional tickets can be purchased.
  • The overall winner will be presented with a locally designed trophy.
  • The Travel Drumheller Hospitality Ambassador Award will be presented by the Travel Drumheller Marketing Society. Additional awards are presented at the Celebration of Excellence by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Drumheller, and the Town of Drumheller and FCSS. 

*Board members of the Travel Drumheller Marketing Society will remain eligible for nomination however will be excluded from the Judging Panel.
