Huskies shed profusely, are very energetic, enjoy digging and chewing, and many tend to be escape artists. Huskies are also very rarely capable of being off-leash dogs and even with extensive training, some can never be trusted off-leash. Many Huskies will bolt and run away from you if they ever get the chance off-leash, despite your calling and efforts to persuade them back to you. Are those all traits you are willing to cope with? *
