As part of our work to enable more personalized professional learning and to share the amazing things happening across the District, we are looking for educators in Weld RE-4 who are willing to share their expertise and innovative strategies by facilitating a 50-minute session or a 110-minute workshop on October 21, 2019.

Session Proposal for #INSPIRE4 Staff Learning Day October 21, 2019

Weld RE-4 Educators will be compensated for 2 hours for prep/plan per each unique session. If you are teaching multiple sessions on the same topic you will only be paid for 2 hours.

You will need to complete a form for each unique session proposal.

Conversation - Topics for discussion in this session type are determined by you as the facilitator. You may use guiding questions or focus the conversation around a specific topic

Panel - Presentation with a designated moderator facilitating a discussion among two or more panelists around a particular topic. Interaction and Q&A from the audience is highly encouraged.

Facilitated Workshop - Provide the time needed to move from knowledge to application.

Problem of Practice - Focused on solving a particular Problem of Practice such as "How Might We create a Personalized Learning environment with only 3 devices in the classroom?" or "How Might We create vertical teams across a K-8 school to collaborative lesson plan and support students?". This session is for genuine inquiry and solution development with "the people in the room."

Snapshot - Micro-presentations that focus on a particular solution, tool or resource.

Online Canvas Course-done independently during the session.
