This year, New York State is offering only those Regents exams that are required by the United States Department of Education:
• English Language Arts • Living Environment • Algebra I • Earth Science
Each of these examinations is scheduled for a morning administration. No other Regents exams will be given in June, and no Regents exams will be given in August.

New York State has granted school districts the authority to exempt students from taking Regents exams for the courses listed above if they are passing the respective courses; Great Neck Public Schools are granting this exemption. All students who pass courses for which Regents exams have been waived will be granted Regents credit for these courses regardless of whether or not they take these examinations. Regents exams scores will not be included in course final averages.
