Play, Learn & Grow: Early Learning Workshop Series
Designed especially for the network of friends, family, neighbors, and parents who help support the care of a young child, in this three-week workshop series, participants will: develop a deeper understanding of how the things they do contribute to their child’s development, reflect on the value of their existing interactions, and engage with new tools and skills that support school readiness, such as early literacy and STEM programming for young children.
Weekly sessions will be IN PERSON and INTERACTIVE.
Workshop Dates and Time:
November 2nd 10:00-11:30a.m.
November 9th 10:00-11:30a.m.
November 16th 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m.
In the first two sessions, children are welcome and encouraged to paly along with us! The third session is designed for the adult learner. The Library will provide childcare for your child if they come along on this day.
In addition to the workshops, participants will receive a weekly take home kit that includes popular activities for caregivers so they can immediately practice what they have learned with the children in their care.
