Earth Day Walk - Step Into Sustainability Registration
Overview

Join us for the 2024 Earth Day Walk - Step Into Sustainability - a pivotal event hosted by University Sustainability Practices at Arizona State University. This unique 1.5-mile walk, representing the United Nations' 1.5-degree climate goal, will take you on a journey around the scenic Mountain America Stadium Concourse. As you complete the 3.5 laps required, immerse yourself in an experience designed to enlighten and inspire action towards a more sustainable future.

The Walk

The Earth Day Walk is more than just a physical challenge; it's a step towards understanding and committing to the planet's health. The distance of 1.5 miles has been thoughtfully chosen to symbolize the urgent need to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, a goal that is at the heart of international Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).
