STEM Board Meeting Public Comment Sign-Up
STEM School Highlands Ranch is a self-governed charter school authorized by DCSD. Our Board of Directors set the school’s policies. Where a policy is not developed, we follow DCSD’s policies. For any questions about the Board of Directors, please email communications@stemk12.org.

The STEM Board of Directors values community input at each of its Board Meetings via Public Comment. Members of our STEM community (staff, students, parents and community members) are invited to speak during the Public Comment portion of the agenda.

This is the time to voice opinions and provide feedback about specific agenda item(s) prior to any Board action. Speakers must complete the Public Comment Form and submit it electronically no later than 12 p.m. the day of each Board meeting. If written testimony or a handout is submitted, presenters are asked to supply one (1) copy via email to communications@stemk12.org.

Tips for addressing the Board:

~ Limit comments to the allotted time (three minutes).
~ Identify yourself before speaking.
~ Groups representing a common viewpoint are encouraged to select one spokesperson, who may speak for longer than the allotted time at the discretion of the Board Chair.
~ Please be respectful

By law, the Board is allowed to take action only on items on the agenda.  The Board may, at their discretion, refer any matter to STEM staff or calendar the issue for future discussion.
