ATTENDANCE
Regular school attendance is essential for academic success.  I understand that excessive unexcused absences may result in placement on probation followed by removal from STEAM if the behavior continues during the remainder of the school year.  STEAM participation requires 80% attendance or better each school year.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS
As a STEAM student, I understand that I will be required to meet graduation and STEAM requirements for Franklin High School, complete a minimum of 25 hours of Service Learning/Community Service each year, and participate in STEAM activities. In addition, I understand that I must make progress toward being a STEAM completer by taking the appropriate courses each year.  While the counselor and coordinator review student transcripts, it is the responsibility of the student and parent/guardian to ensure the student enrolls and successfully completes the required STEAM courses.

ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
I understand that I must obtain 90% of the credits each academic year in courses required for graduation.  STEAM courses not completed with a “D” or better must be repeated.

In addition, I understand that my actions on campus which lead to multiple detentions, on-campus suspensions (OCS) and/or home suspensions may lead to dismissal from STEAM as evaluated by the STEAM staff.
