Firstly welcome to MUNE Casting Agency, we look forward to assessing your application.

You have been invited to apply for TV Extra work, for the months July through to December.  This is a fantastic opportunity to gain TV experience and to earn some extra money!

Do not worry if you are new to the industry, we will go through as much information as we can in the next few steps as well as providing you with some extra information a long the way.  But any questions please do ask!

We do not need to see an expensive photographic portfolio but we do need FOUR CLEAR images.

-One quarter length
One side profile

We also need a very short intro video just confirming your FULL NAME & AGE.

Finally we need confirmation you have a DBS or will be applying for a DBS.

If accepted to the agency we will require a copy of your ID & DBS before we can put you forward for work. as well a copy of your ID (this can be a passport or driving licence)

In this section we will ask about your right to work in the UK, ID, NI & DBS.
The majority of productions now require your ID, NI & Copy of a valid DBS before booking you for work.  Failure to provide these will result in us not being able to represent you.

DBS *
BBC views a DBS to be valid if it is within 18 months.  Any DBS older than this will be deemed as invalid.  Please confirm you have a valid DBS or if you do not, that you are going to apply for a basic disclosure from the Direct Gov website.

We need to know a little more...

Call times can be as early as 6am and can run over into the early hours, so we need to know how you will travel & if this is something you can commit to.

Will this be your only job, or do you work 5-6 days a week - Just like most jobs our clients will work Monday to Friday, which means your shoots/filming will more than likely be during the week.  Are you able to take time out of work last minute to commit to this.

The TV Industry can be unpredictable, and last minute if you are relying on lifts or public transport are you able to make arrangements if your booking changes.

With the unpredictability of the industry, it is common that we are not able to give exact location details or times until the night before your shoot.  Please keep this in mind if you do have a full time job or are relying on lifts.

We are looking for committed and reliable individuals.  If you cancel on a committed job last minute you can be liable for costs.  Do not confirm you are fully available if you are not.  Are you reliable?

Are you registered to another agency? We are a sole agency and therefore must be exclusive to MUNE if accepted.
How we work....
If accepted, we will send you an offer and begin to onboard you onto the agency on a temporary contract.

Once on board, we will send your CV/Headshots over to our clients for them to select you.

We will send you availability checks through email.  If you confirm you are available you MUST then keep this full day free.

If you have been selected for filming we will be in touch with a booking confirmation email. If you are unsure if you have been booked or not, please get in touch with us to double check.

We wont have confirmed details until around 6pm the night before (sometimes later) any filming date you are booked for.

We will always send out all details as soon as we receive them. If you have not received the filming details after 6pm please get in touch with us.

When going to set please always arrive on time and follow instructions they give you on set.

Do not ask for autographs, do not take pictures, and do not use your phone on set.

When leaving set you may be given a CHIT sheet to sign,  if there is anything incorrect on this sheet inform us immediately.  Do not wait until weeks later.  There will also be a link on your booking confirmation to confirm the hours that you worked, please do this the day after filming.

We are a commission based agency, therefore 17% commission will be deducted from each booking.  A £25 admin will be deducted from your first payment, this is a one off payment that will only be deducted from your first job.

Payment can take as long as 90 days, however, we will fully endeavour to pay you as soon as we have been paid by the client.

Payment will be made by bacs and must be paid into your bank, not a parent or guardians.  Bank details must be provided on your Tagmin profile, you will be given access to your profile once accepted and it is set up.

You must always act professional at all times. Always be polite and take instruction when given them. You are representing MUNE and also yourselves.

To take part in filming you CANNOT have false nails or false eyelashes.  If you arrive to set not following this, you will not be paid.

Final message
We cannot assess your application until we receive:

- A Full Application
- FOUR images
- VIDEO a very very short video confirming your full name & Age (This is for ID purposes)
- DBS OR confirmation you will be applying for your DBS

If accepted to the agency we will require a copy of your ID & DBS before we can put you forward for work.

If your images are too large we will also accept it being sent through WeTransfer.  We will be reviewing applications weekly, but please keep in mind the expiry date on WeTransfer, if this expires we may need you to re-send them again.

If we do not receive the above within 5 working days your application will be removed.
