Margaret River Tennis Club Poll on LED Lighting - Your Community Feedback Needed!
Currently at Margaret River Tennis Club we have Metal-Halide lights that require replacement every 3 years at a cost of $850 each time one blows.  We are considering replacing these with LED lights which are more energy efficient (our electricity bills will halve) and have a life cycle of 50,000 to 70,000 hours (that means we won't need to replace them while we can still hit a ball!)

We would love to hear your opinion on our Lighting Project to convert to LED.

Our current lighting levels (78-160 Lux) are considerably lower than the Australian Standard for Recreational use (250 Lux), and Club Competition Levels (350 Lux). Would you be more likely to book a court casually at night time if lighting levels at Margaret River Tennis Club doubled or even tripled?

Are you in favour of the Margaret River Tennis Club taking a significant step towards sustainability and cost-effectiveness by upgrading our current metal-halide lights to energy-efficient LED lights, which not only double or even triple the light levels on our courts but also use only half the power?
