Greetings Ira Jones Families,
With the start of the sport’s season here at Ira Jones, we want to make sure to pre-teach our expectations for attending extra-curricular sporting events as a student fan.
The expectations are as follows:
Students must bring a current school-issued ID to the event, with an athletic sticker.
Students are required to sit in the student section of the bleachers.
Students are expected to leave at the end of the school day and return at 4:00pm.
Students will not be permitted to return to their lockers before, during or after an event. Backpacks are not permitted.
Students should remain in the bleachers during the event. Restroom and snack breaks will be allowed at halftime.
Students are not allowed to have their cell phones out during the event . Taking photos or videos during the event is strictly prohibited.
Students are expected to show positive sportsmanship as spectators (e.g., no booing opponents, stomping feet in the bleachers, using profanity).
Students must be picked up no later than 5:45 pm.
If a student is removed from an event they are expected to wait with an administrator or Ira Jones staff member until a parent arrives.
Students are expected to adhere to all listed above expectations and to follow additional guidance given by Ira Jones staff and administrators.
