Criteria for those accepted into the program include:
-Spiritual maturity demonstrated by deep faith and an active walk with Christ
-Emotional maturity as demonstrated by self-awareness, self-management, and resilience
-A calming presence that gives the ability to effectively walk others through difficult and stressful situations
-Effective communication skills demonstrated by the ability to ask powerful questions and give direct feedback
-A gracious and inviting spirit that offers empathy and warmth to others which naturally leads to trust building
-Critical thinking that assists in learning to conceptualize others’ stories and identifying needed next steps
-A curious spirit that seeks to understand others and practices active listening
-A desire to learn
-A high value for ethical guidelines, Christian beliefs, and professional standards
