July 15 (Sat) 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join Janet Yardley (she, her), Richard Doherty (he, him), and Hunter Kirschner (he, they) for an LGBTQ+ paddle on Nubanusit Lake and Spoonwood Pond, where we’ll look for eagles, loons, mergansers, and other wildlife. This moderately strenuous paddle will cover between 6 and 10 miles, and may involve a short portage between Nubi and Spoonwood. Afterwards, we’ll have access to a private area for swimming, relaxing, and fostering community. Bring a lunch, water, your own canoe or kayak, and PFDs for each person in your boat, and come prepared for sun. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Nelson. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Rain date: July 16.
If you need to borrow a kayak or canoe, paddles, or a PFD, please contact Janet by July 12. For other information, contact Richard or Hunter.
Each member of your group will need to submit this form.
