Official Registration Form for MCC Youth Company  Auditions 2022-23
Thank you so much for your interest in MCC Youth Company!  

We are asking that everyone please fill out the form below so that we can keep you informed about our audition process in the fall. Please note that parent authorization is required in order to participate in our Youth Company Programs. The auditions will take place the week of October 17th - dates to be announced mid September. Auditions will be TWO DAYS.  Attendance on BOTH DAYS are required. The auditions are for BOTH Performance Lab AND Playwriting Lab.

MCC Youth Company is a FREE after school program for NYC High School Students. Auditions will be held IN PERSON near MCC Theater located at 511 West 52nd St between 10th and 11th aves for the following programs in the MCC Youth Company:

PERFORMANCE LAB - a weekly class that meets Mondays from 4:30 -6:30pm from October 2022- May 2023, is dedicated to ensemble building, where actors develop their performance skills through improvisation, scene study, movement, writing and voice. They perform, rehearse, and share their original works during spring break for our culminating annual UNCENSORED production.

PLAYWRITING LAB - a weekly playwrighting session that meets Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm rom October 2022- May 2023, where members develop original scripts in weekly workshops focused on how to create monologue, dialogue, setting, conflict, and characters. Playwrights get to experience a professional workshop process and see their plays brought to life in our culminating annual summer Fresh Play Festival.

The DEADLINE to REGISTER for auditions is Wednesday, October 19th at 11:59pm.

COVID POLICY: Please note to audition you must be fully vaccinated (booster is not needed) and have proof of Covid Vaccination to enter MCC Theater and masks are required. Please reach out to us at the email below if you have religious or medical exemption.

MCC's Youth Company's programs will operate in person at our theater space on 10th avenue and West 52nd street in Manhattan.
