Dear parents/carers,

Transitions, especially to adulthood, are a huge step for both parents/carers and young adults. Therefore, at Briarwood school, we feel it would be very beneficial if we could put you in touch with some of the further education, social care providers and adult services and to support decision-making for their adult future and ensure you are well-informed.

At Briarwood school we believe that by getting parents/carers more involved in the transition process, you are able not only have an insight into your young person's strengths, needs and capabilities, but also will feel more empowered and well-prepared to support them through the transition.

Under these unforeseen circumstances, we were not able to have an in-person Transitions Fayre this academic year. The virtual Transitions Fayre contains useful links for providers and services in Bristol and out of county.

As this is our first (and hopefully last) online Transitions Fayre we would appreciate your honest feedback to help us understand how supportive you  found it and inform our next steps. The questionnaire will not take more than 5 minutes to complete.
