Per federal requirements, it is important to note that school districts are expected to test 95% of district students in grades 3-8, and 11.
There are parents, though, who choose to have their children opt out of part or all of the assessments. This means individual student data of progress on state assessments will not be available to those who opt out. If you would like to opt your child out of any portion of CAASPP testing for the 2020-21 school year, a written request from the parent or guardian will be required.
By submitting this form, you agree to have it serve as your written request to OPT OUT of CAASPP testing for the 2020-2021 school year.
