Suggested donation: $25.00 for first participant and $15.00 for each additional participant per household
We continue last year's theme of "Operation Restoration: Mending God's World" which invites participants and volunteers to be menders in God’s world. As they make connections between NEW Bible stories and MORE mending actions, they’ll discover simple ways to live out faith in daily life. Everyone will explore language and practices to mend God’s world.
FEATURES:
** Daily themes kids understand: feed, heal, forgive, pray, and rest
** Multisensory activity centers: art, music, science & nature, service learning, games and storytelling
NEW REGISTRATION PRACTICES FOR PARTICIPANTS:
** Host congregations have the first opportunity to register and then registration opens to the community.
** The sooner you register, the more likely you will be enrolled in the first 50 spots. We will notify you once registration is confirmed OR placed on the wait list.
** As we CONFIRM additional volunteers for Small Group Leaders (Village Chiefs and Assistant Village Chiefs), we will notify you when your registration is confirmed.
** We wish for this to be a SAFE, FUN, and SUSTAINABLE VBS model that nourishes participants and volunteers.
**The more volunteers we have, the better the ratio of leaders to participants and the better we are able to train and mentor new volunteers and spread the roles and responsibilities for an atmosphere that is fun for everyone. PLEASE CONSIDER VOLUNTEERING if you are a rising 6th grader, up to Adult age.
SIGN-UP INCENTIVES FOR VOLUNTEERS:
** Truly, every bit of volunteering from pre-prep, during, or after VBS, is VITAL to a safe and successful VBS!
** If you sign-up to volunteer by March 23rd, you will be entered into a raffle for a $25.00 gift card to your choice of Gnarly Knots in Lombard, Blackberry Market in Glen Ellyn, or Kimmer's Ice Cream in Wheaton.
