[Note: You do not need to audition to be a member of Concert Band (MUE 2660). Simply register for MUE 2660 which meets MWF 3:35 - 4:30 pm and attend the first week of class.]

STEPS to Prepare for your Audition:
1) Download your audition music
2) Prepare ALL excerpts to the best of your ability
2) Be warmed up and ready to play at your assigned Audition Block (see below)

AUDITION BLOCKS (mark your calendar now and make arrangements to comply with this schedule). FRIDAY, AUGUST 25, 2023. Be on time for your audition. You must be ready to perform at the START time of each instrument time block. All auditions will take place in the Band Room (Rm 190) of the Creative Arts Center.
  • 9 a.m. - Bassoons
  • 9:20 a.m. - Oboes
  • 10 a.m. - Flutes
  • 11 a.m. - Clarinets
  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m - Lunch Break
  • 1 p.m. - Trombones
  • 2 p.m. - Trumpets
  • 3 p.m. - Horns
  • 3:30 p.m. - Saxophones 
  • 4:30 p.m. - Euphoniums & Tubas
