The 2023 NSOI Concerto Competition is open to all NSOI members (including Fellowship members). The winner of the 2023 NSOI Concerto Competition will perform on the Thursday, June 1, 2023 NSOI Concert at the MTSU School of Music
Performers for the 2023 NSOI Honors Recitals will be selected from the 2023 NSOI Concerto Competition participants and 2023 NSOI Fellowship members.
To enter the 2023 NSOI Concerto Competition:
1) Fill out the 2023 NSOI Concerto Competition application below.
2) Send your video recording of your concerto movement in by an unlisted youtube link or dropbox link listed on the application below. All 2023 NSOI Concerto Competition audition videos must include piano accompaniment.
The deadline for the receipt of your online application and video recording link is May 15. The deadline for the $15 NSOI Concerto Competition Application fee is May 15 (postmarked).
3) Send in the $15 NSOI Concerto Competition application fee to the address below. (The $15 application fee is waived for 2023 NSOI Fellowship recipients.) All NSOI Concerto Competition application fees must be paid by check. Your check should be made out to the "MTSU School of Music", with a memo note of: "2023 NSOI Concerto Competition fee". The deadline for NSOI Concerto Competition fees is May 13 (postmarked).
