People of Paper Digital Archive
A survey of contemporary papermakers, book artists, printmakers, paper scholars and scientists by the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking.
The mission of the Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking is to collect, preserve, increase, and disseminate knowledge about papermaking. In that spirit we are looking to have contemporary artists, craftsman, scholars, and scientists working in the field of paper and related areas document who they are, their motivations & inspirations, their direct connections to other people in the field, and their work. This is a multi-phase project:
PHASE 1 - survey to find out who's doing what
PHASE 2 - collect personal introduction videos to be posted in an online archive and shared on the Paper Museum's social media
PHASE 3 - collect documentation of presentations and lectures from conferences made available to the public from the Paper Museum's online archive for research purposes
We want to provide a repository for a living history that records continued traditions, innovations & developments, and the voice of the times without the filter of memory.
Please help us in this quest to build a robust and useful archive by participating in the survey below.
