jgarcia@ee-schools.orgDescription: The Raptor Open Tournament is taking place on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Executive Education Academy Charter School. It is a Folkstyle competition with middle school Boys and Girls, as well as high school boys and girls’ divisions. Weight classes will be PJW for middle school and PIAA for high school boys. High school girls weight classes are 101 lbs, 108 lbs, 115lbs, 122 lbs, 128lbs, 134 lbs, 140lbs, 147lbs, 162 lbs, 184 lbs, 222lbs, and Hwt. The Middle School and High School levels will feature tournaments for boys and for girls as long as the numbers support a legitimate bracket in the division and weight class. In the event that there are not enough wrestlers in a given division and weight class athletes will have the option either to compete in a combined weight class including both boys and girls or to withdraw from the competition with a full refund of the registration fee. The fee for entry is $35 pre-registration and $50 at the door. All entrants will receive a tournament t-shirt and the top three placers in each division will receive medals.
Locker rooms will open for weight checks at 7:30am, weigh-ins will begin at 8:00am. Wrestling will begin at 9:00am.
