Summer Book Club 2021
"The Secular Creed: Engaging Five Contemporary Claims" by Rebecca McLaughlin

In this provocative book, Rebecca McLaughlin helps us disentangle truth Christians can gladly affirm from beliefs that they cannot embrace. She invites us to learn how to talk with our neighbors about the things that matter most. Arguing that Christianity is the original source and firmest foundation of true diversity, equality and life-transforming love, she considers five popular, contemporary claims that show up on social media and on yard signs across our neighborhoods. Join us as we read and discuss these contemporary claims with the wisdom of the Gospel and the grace of God.
