Terms & Conditions of MACCA's Summer Program

Child Behaviour
Due to the limited staff we have and the short duration of this camp, MACCA has created a fair, but strict policy regarding child misconduct. Students are expected to behave in accordance to the same policies as their regular school. We do not have the additional resources like a regular school to have multiple staff members specialized in responding to child misconduct. For that reason, we have a zero tolerance policy to any type of violence, bullying, and unacceptable behaviour. Depending on the circumstances, parents will be notified immediately of any incident that arises and steps will be taken by staff to prevent further escalation of this issue. Should this behaviour occur again, the child's engagement in the camp will be discontinued. The child's registration fees will not be refunded at this point.

Students with Special Needs
The safety of our campers is our primary concern. If you feel your child has special consideration please notify our SFA Program Manager sfa@macca1987.com or contact our office: (905) 946 - 9998 so that we can determine if this program would be ideal in meeting the child's needs.

Child Absence
In the event of your child becoming sick, away for vacation, or unable to attend camp for an extended period, the parent is expected to send an email to Mr. Prana indicating the child's full name , date of absence and duration of absence. Parent(s)/Caregiver must email:
SummerCamp@macca1987.com

Lunch/Snacks
Just like your child's regular school, we ask that parents avoid providing children snacks & lunches that contain any type of nuts, eggs, and fish. While this may be challenging in terms of lunch options, you have the option to take your child home for lunch. If so, please sign out your child in the binder when leaving.
--> While the school does have designated drinking water stations, we strongly suggest providing your child with a water bottle each day.

Clothing - For Young Children
As young children, accidents do happen, and your child's clothing may get dirty due to accidental water spills, glue, etc. We advise parents to pack a spare set of clothing in their bags in case of emergencies like this so that we do not have to call you during your office hours.
