SCIPIE 2023 Conference Submission
Welcome to the SCIPIE 2023 electronic submission system! Here you will submit your proposal for the biennial conference to be held virtually and supported by the College of Education at Portland State University. All proposals should be submitted by midnight on July 14, 2023.  This form system contains several fields that need to be completed. Be prepared to enter the following information:

Contact information – Contact information is required for all participating authors including first and last name, affiliation, and email address.

Submission type – The authors need to identity the type of session planned for the conference.

Submission summary – Authors will need to prepare a 500 word summary of the session or paper submission that includes a description of the content that will be addressed. The summary should include the foundational questions and the desired outcomes. Also, be certain to highlight critical details such relationship to conference theme, theoretical framework, data collection tools or methodologies that will be discussed, and potential impact.  If you are proposing a purely methodological or theoretical session, it is especially important to include the session's connection to the conference theme and to SCIPIE's vision of supporting innovation in educational psychology.
 
Collective session activity description – Authors who are preparing a collective session (see program call for details) will need to submit a 200 word summary of how sessions will actively engage participants and involve them in the presentation (not required for posters or individual papers).
 
Individual submission innovative paper description – Authors who are preparing a poster or individual paper session (see program call for details) will need to submit a 200 word summary of how their poster or individual paper contributes to innovation in educational psychology (not required for collective sessions).
