Endorse the U of T Climate Strike (Students & Alumni)
On September 23rd we will strike for climate justice. Our demands are:

  1. Emissions: A more bold (and experimental) climate policy than the Climate Positive Plan.

    1. At a minimum match and exceed the City of Toronto’s plan

    2. Utilize its many resources and experts at University!

  2. Investment

    1. Transparency around U of T’s investment policy

    2. Federated colleges divest from fossil fuels

  3. Preparing students for the green future: Implementation of academic programs focused on careers in sustainability and a just transition - ensure programs are ready for a switch towards climate specific goals

    1. Implement a working group to look at connecting every program to sustainability.
