U-SPACE : 'UKULELE RETAIL & CREATIVE SERVICES
U-SPACE is Los Angeles' premier 'Ukulele creative enterprise, featuring over 20 years of award-winning, professional expertise in 'ukulele performance, education, and retail. Originally from Hawai'i, the L.A.-based U-SPACE creative team is dedicated to promoting a shared sense of community for  'ukulele enthusiasts of all levels and playing experience.
'UKULELE 101 : Beginner Course

Cost: $25 for Single Class

+++ Instruction for (complete) beginners, includes an introduction to proper technique, usable music concepts, and strumming simple chords, featuring U-SPACE's feel-good blend of JAM-ready tunes.

++ This ongoing class is designed to build on material covered over a course series. (Complete) beginners are welcome to attend our new student Orientation/Review, which will be held before the start time of each Beginner class meeting.

+ Loaner instruments and sales assistance will be available on-site as part of U-SPACE's full-service 'ukulele program.
'UKE On! Next Level : JAM-Ready Strumming

+++ For returning U-SPACE students or those with some playing experience, this class is geared toward progressive-beginner players, who want to explore accessible rhythm techniques for strumming and practice accelerated chord learning drills for JAM-ready inspiration.

++ Returning students are encouraged to attend this class as an ongoing program of study.

'UKE On Beyond : Creative Covers

(Sunday), 3:30pm - 4:45pm
Cost: $25 for Single Class

+++ For Intermediate-Advanced level playing experience. Explore the art of the cover song with accessible song-arranging techniques to inspire your ‘ukulele creativity. This class will introduce creative rhythm techniques in both strums and arpeggios to highlight key elements found across a variety of musical styles each reinterpreted in simple, but stylistically innovative ways.

++ Returning students are encouraged to attend this class as an ongoing program of study.
