MHTF Housing Forum Survey
Many people who live with a mental illness struggle to find and maintain safe, accessible, affordable housing.  Access to housing is key to maintaining recovery.  The Mental Health Task Force 2020 forum will explore opportunities to expand access to housing, tenant rights including disability related accommodations, and resources to support consumers with maintaining housing.

We would like your input on the questions you want our speakers to address, or to include in the resource packet for our October 13th forum, Housing: Opportunities, Rights, and Resources.    We encourage you to reply by September 15th.

Our opening  speaker at the forum is Andy McMahon, Vice President of Health and Human Services Policy at UnitedHealthcare. Andy previously worked at the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) where he led efforts to create supportive housing opportunities for vulnerable populations.   Andy will address policy opportunities to expand access to housing and related supports.   What questions would you like Andy to address?
At our October forum, Attorney Monica Murphy will speak about housing rights:  What are your questions about housing rights and resources for people who live with a mental illness?
Do you have other questions or suggestions for the forum?  We welcome your suggestions of housing resources to include on the Forum Resource List.
