IGS YMC and IGS Foundation Travel Grants for GeoAmericas 2024
The IGS Young Member Committee and IGS Foundation has launched a travel assistance initiative for GeoAmericas 2024. IGS Young Members (students and engineers
younger than 36
) with travel expenses greater than
USD 500
may apply for travel. Approximately
10 awards
will be made of up to
USD 1000 each
. The travel assistance will be awarded based on financial need and merit. Preference will be given to candidates from the Americas.
Applications close on the
10th of February
. Successful applications will be notified by the end of February. IGS Young Members (students and professionals) are younger than 36 at the time of the conference. Winners will be reimbursed after the conference and are required to submit a feedback report. Successful applicants will be reimbursed after the conference.
Eligibility
Younger than 36 at the time of the conference
Present a paper at the conference
Be a registered IGS member (both student and regular IGS members qualify)
As part of the application we require that you upload the following supporting documents:
Proof of registration for the conference (if you have not yet registered, please attached a short note why)
Proof of age
PDF of your paper submitted to the conference
Quote or receipt of flight ticket
2-Page CV
