§ 1
1. This Regulation defines the rights and obligations of Participants of the International Scientific Conference "Energy Transformation: Opportunities and Threats," hereinafter referred to as the Regulation.
2. The organizers of the Conference are the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and the Student Scientific Circle of Energy Law "on/off" operating at the Department.
3. The International Scientific Conference "Energy Transformation: Opportunities and Threats," hereinafter referred to as the Conference, takes place on December 14-15, 2023. It is conducted both online and in-person in Toruń at the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
4. The provisions of this Regulation are an integral part of the Conference participation application and apply equally to all Participants.

§ 2
1. The conditions for participation in the Conference include fulfilling the following:
   1) submitting participation in the Conference by completing the registration form available on the Conference website at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1259636668053048
   2) paying the fee in the amount, manner, and deadline specified by the Organizers.
2. The above conditions do not apply to invited guests.
3. The deadline for submitting the Conference participation application through the Conference Website expires on the date indicated by the Organizers.
4. The Organizer is not responsible for the provision of incorrect or false data by the Participant during the registration for the Conference.
5. The Organizer is not responsible for any damages arising from this Conference, except for those caused intentionally by the Organizer and beyond the responsibility arising from absolutely applicable legal norms (including consumer protection).
6. Submitting the Conference participation application signifies acceptance and commitment to comply with the provisions of the Regulation, as well as legal regulations and any agreements made between the Participant and the Organizers.
7. Each Participant participating in the Conference has the right to receive a certificate confirming participation in the Conference.

§ 3
In accordance with Article 12 et seq. of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC - General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as GDPR):
1. The Organizers are the administrators of the personal data of the Participants.
2. The Conference Organizers do not transfer, sell, or lend the collected personal data of the Participants to other individuals or institutions.
3. Personal data provided by the Participant is treated as confidential and will be processed only for the purpose of communication between the Participant and the Conference Organizers and for the purposes related to the implementation of the Conference, possibly also for the purpose of pursuing claims or defending against claims, as well as to the extent and scope to which the Participant has given consent.
4. Providing data is voluntary but necessary for the purpose of contact and participation in the Conference, and the consequence of not providing or objecting to the processing of data will be the inability to achieve the mentioned goals.
5. By registering, the Participant consents to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of conducting the Conference in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation.
6. Participants have all rights arising from the GDPR, in particular the right to rectify data, the right to delete data, the right to limit data processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to data processing, the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
7. Participation in the Conference does not require the provision of any sensitive data. No sensitive data is intentionally collected unless such obligation arises from applicable legal regulations. Participants are therefore asked not to provide any sensitive data.
8. Recipients of personal data are only entities authorized to receive them under the law. Personal data may also be disclosed to entities cooperating with the Organizers (e.g., subcontractors, service providers), and other entities only with the explicit consent of the Participant.
9. Personal data of Participants, due to the legitimate interests of the Organizers, will be processed until the Participant effectively objects.

§ 4
1. The Participant may withdraw from participation in the Conference within 14 days from the date of booking participation but no later than 30 days before the start of the Conference. The Participant's resignation from participating in the Conference should be made in writing and sent by mail to the Organizer's address or, after signing, send the scanned document to the email address: sknpe.umk@gmail.com.
2. In the case of withdrawal from participation later than the deadlines specified in point 1, participation costs are non-refundable. In other cases, costs are refundable, but the Organizers have the right to deduct them for expenses already incurred in connection with the organization of the Conference (especially room reservation, hotel services, meals, conference materials, teleinformatics services, technical support services, taxes, and other public duties).
3. The positive decision of the Organizers regarding the reimbursement of costs to the Participant constitutes the basis for the refund to the bank account specified by the Participant.
4. If the Conference does not take place due to reasons beyond the Organizers' control, force majeure, participation costs are refundable. However, the Organizers have the right to deduct them for expenses already incurred in connection with the organization of the Conference (especially room reservation, hotel services, meals, conference materials, teleinformatics services, technical support services, taxes, and other public duties). The Participant is not entitled to compensation.
5. If the Conference does not take place due solely to reasons dependent on the Organizers, the Organizers will immediately return the amounts paid by the Participants to the bank accounts specified by the Participants.

§ 5
1. The Organizers reserve the right to change the entire or part of the Regulation.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to use the email address provided during registration for the Conference to inform the Participants of the Conference, including changes to the Conference program, the Regulation, and to send invitations to subsequent editions of the Conference.
3. The Conference Participant, by completing the registration form available on the Conference Website, confirms that they have read the Regulation and accept its provisions.
4. Any disputes arising from participation in the Conference will be resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Organizers' registered office.
5. The provisions of this Regulation are an integral part of the Conference participation application and apply to all Participants.
6. Matters not regulated by this Regulation are subject to the provisions of the Civil Code.
7. This Regulation comes into effect on November 10, 2023.

§ 1

1. Niniejszy Regulamin określa prawa i obowiązki Uczestników Międzynarodowej Konferencji Naukowej „Energy Transformation: Opportunities and Threats", zwany dalej Regulaminem.

2. Organizatorami Konferencji są: Katedra Prawa Cywilnego Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu oraz Studenckie Koło Naukowe Prawa Energetycznego „on/off” działające przy Katedrze.

3.  Międzynarodowa Konferencja Naukowa „Energy Transformation: Opportunities and Threats", zwana dalej Konferencją, odbywa się w terminie 14-15 grudnia 2023 r. Realizowana jest zarówno online jak i stacjonarnie w Toruniu na terenie Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu.

4. Przepisy niniejszego Regulaminu stanowią integralną część Zgłoszenia uczestnictwa w Konferencji i obowiązują w równym stopniu wszystkich Uczestników.

 

§ 2

1. Warunkami uczestnictwa w Konferencji jest spełnienie łącznie:

1) zgłoszenie uczestnictwa w Konferencji poprzez wypełnienie formularza zgłoszeniowego dostępnego na stronie internetowej Konferencji pod adresem: https://www.facebook.com/events/1259636668053048

2) uiszczenie opłaty w wysokości, w sposób i w terminie podanym przez Organizatorów.

2.   Powyższe warunki nie obowiązują zaproszonych gości.

3. Termin nadsyłania zgłoszenia uczestnictwa w Konferencji za pośrednictwem Serwisu Internetowego Konferencji upływa w dniu wskazanym przez Organizatorów.

4. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za podanie błędnych lub nieprawdziwych danych przez Uczestnika podczas rejestracji uczestnictwa w Konferencji.

5. Organizator nie ponosi odpowiedzialności za jakiekolwiek szkody powstałe w związku z niniejszą Konferencją, poza powstałymi z winy umyślnej Organizatora oraz poza odpowiedzialnością wynikającą z bezwzględnie obowiązujących norma prawnych (w tym w zakresie ochrony konsumenckiej).

6. Wysłanie zgłoszenia uczestnictwa Konferencji oznacza akceptację i zobowiązanie do przestrzegania postanowień Regulaminu, a także przepisów prawa oraz wszelkich ustaleń dokonanych między Uczestnikiem a Organizatorami.

7. Każdy Uczestnik biorący udział w Konferencji ma prawo otrzymać certyfikat potwierdzający uczestnictwo w Konferencji.

 

§ 3

Zgodnie z art. 12 i n. Rozporządzenia Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady (UE) 2016/679 z dnia 27 kwietnia 2016 r. w sprawie ochrony osób fizycznych w związku z przetwarzaniem danych osobowych i w sprawie swobodnego przepływu takich danych oraz uchylenia dyrektywy 95/46/WE - ogólne rozporządzenie o ochronie danych (dalej jako RODO):

1. Administratorem danych osobowych Uczestników są Organizatorzy.

2. Organizatorzy Konferencji nie przekazują, nie sprzedają i nie użyczają zgromadzonych danych osobowych Uczestników innym osobom lub instytucjom.

3. Dane osobowe podane przez Uczestnika są traktowane jako informacje poufne i będą przetwarzane wyłącznie w celu możliwości komunikacji pomiędzy Uczestnikiem a Organizatorami Konferencji oraz dla celów związanych z realizacją Konferencji, ewentualnie także w celu dochodzenia roszczeń lub obrony przed roszczeniami, a także w celu i zakresie na jaki została przez Uczestnika wyrażona zgoda.

4. Podanie danych jest dobrowolne, jednak niezbędne dla celu kontaktu oraz uczestnictwa w Konferencji, zaś konsekwencją niepodania lub sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania danych będzie brak możliwości realizacji wspomnianych celów.

5. Dokonując rejestracji Uczestnik wyraża zgodę na przetwarzanie jego danych osobowych dla celów przeprowadzenia Konferencji zgodnie z postanowieniami Regulaminu.

6. Uczestnikowi przysługują wszelkie wynikające z RODO prawa, w szczególności do prawo sprostowania danych, prawo do usunięcia danych, prawo do ograniczenia przetwarzania danych, prawo do przenoszenia danych, prawo do wniesienia sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania danych, prawo do cofnięcia zgody w dowolnym momencie bez wpływu na zgodność z prawem przetwarzania, którego dokonano na podstawie zgody przed jej cofnięciem, a także prawo do wniesienia skargi do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych.

7. Udział w Konferencji nie wymaga podania żadnych danych wrażliwych. W sposób celowy nie są zbierane żadne dane wrażliwe, chyba że taki obowiązek wynika z obowiązujących przepisów prawa. Uczestnicy proszeni są zatem o niepodawania żądnych swoich danych wrażliwych.

8. Odbiorcami danych osobowych są wyłącznie podmioty uprawnione do ich otrzymania na mocy przepisów prawa. Dane osobowe mogą być także udostępniane podmiotom współpracującym z Organizatorami (np. podwykonawcy, usługodawcy), a innym podmiotom tylko za wyraźną zgodą Uczestnika.

9. Dane osobowe Uczestników z uwagi na uzasadniony interes Organizatorów będą przetwarzane do czasu ewentualnego zgłoszenia przez Uczestnika skutecznego sprzeciwu.

 

§ 4

1. Uczestnik może zrezygnować z uczestnictwa w Konferencji w terminie 14 dni od daty rezerwacji uczestnictwa nie później jednak niż na 30 dni przed rozpoczęciem Konferencji. Rezygnacja Uczestnika z udziału w Konferencji powinna być dokonana w formie pisemnej, którą należy wysłać pocztą na adres Organizatora lub po podpisaniu zeskanowany dokument przesłać na adres e-mail: sknpe.umk@gmail.com

2. W przypadku rezygnacji z uczestnictwa później niż w terminach wskazanych w pkt 1 koszty uczestnictwa nie podlegają zwrotowi. W pozostałych przypadkach koszty podlegają zwrotowi, Organizatorzy mają jednak prawo pomniejszyć je o wydatki już poczynione w związku z organizacją Konferencji (w szczególności rezerwacja sal, usługi hotelarskie, wyżywienie, materiały konferencyjne, usługi teleinformatyczne, usługi wsparcia technicznego, podatki i inne daniny publiczne).

3. Pozytywne postanowienie Organizatorów o zwrocie kosztów Uczestnikowi stanowi podstawę do zwrotu kosztów na wskazany przez Uczestnika rachunek bankowy.

4. W przypadku, gdy Konferencja nie odbędzie się z przyczyn niezależnych od Organizatorów, tzw. siły wyższej, koszty uczestnictwa podlegają zwrotowi. Organizatorzy mają jednak prawo pomniejszyć je o wydatki już poczynione w związku z organizacją Konferencji (w szczególności rezerwacja sal, usługi hotelarskie, wyżywienie, materiały konferencyjne, usługi teleinformatyczne, usługi wsparcia technicznego, podatki i inne daniny publiczne). Uczestnikowi nie przysługuje prawo do odszkodowania.

5. W przypadku, gdy Konferencja nie odbędzie się z przyczyn zależnych wyłącznie od Organizatorów, Organizatorzy niezwłocznie zwrócą kwoty wpłacone przez Uczestników na wskazane przez Uczestników rachunki bankowe.

 

§ 5

1. Organizatorzy zastrzegają sobie prawo do zamiany całości lub części Regulaminu.

2. Organizator zastrzega sobie prawo do wykorzystania adresu e-mail podanego podczas rejestracji na Konferencję celem powiadamiania Uczestników Konferencji m.in. o zmianach programu Konferencji, Regulaminu oraz wysyłania zaproszeń na kolejne edycje Konferencji.

3. Uczestnik Konferencji poprzez wypełnienie formularza zgłoszeniowego dostępnego w Serwisie Internetowym Konferencji potwierdza, iż zapoznał się z Regulaminem i akceptuje jego postanowienia.

4. Wszelkie spory mogące wyniknąć z tytułu uczestnictwa w Konferencji będą rozstrzygane przez sąd właściwy dla siedziby Organizatorów.

5. Przepisy niniejszego Regulaminu stanowią integralną część Zgłoszenia uczestnictwa w Konferencji i obowiązują wszystkich Uczestników.

6. W sprawach nieuregulowanych niniejszym Regulaminem zastosowanie mają przepisy Kodeksu Cywilnego.

7. Niniejszy Regulamin wchodzi w życie wraz z dniem 10.11.2023 r.
