Hi there, I'm so glad you are interested in learning more about college and joining the Inspiring Futures Mentorship Program! Each week you will meet with a group of college mentors and other students with intellectual disabilities to talk about what college is like and about life after high school.
This program will be held virtually on Google Meet. It will be on Thursdays from 4:30-5:30pm from October 13-November 17. It is open to students in 11th grade, 12th grade, or their school district transition program (ages 18-21).
Mentors will be college students with intellectual disabilities from the three inclusive higher education programs in Colorado (University of Northern Colorado, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and Arapahoe Community College).
After submitting an application, we will reach out to you within two weeks to schedule a 30-minute interview to get to know you a bit more and see if this program would be a good fit.

Hola. ¡Me alegra mucho que estés interesado en aprender más sobre la universidad y en aplicar al programa de mentores Inspiring Futures! Cada semana se reunirá con un grupo de mentores universitarios y otros estudiantes con discapacidades intelectuales para hablar sobre cómo es la universidad y sobre la vida después de la escuela secundaria.
Sesiones de programa estaría en línea por Google Meet en los jueves a 4:30-5:30 de la tarde. Las fechas del programa son: 13 de octubre - 17 de noviembre. La sesión de otoño es para juniors y seniors en la escuela secundaria o estudiantes de transición con discapacidades intelectuales.
Los mentores serán estudiantes con discapacidades intelectuales de los tres programas de educación superior inclusivos en Colorado (Universidad del Norte de Colorado, Universidad de Colorado Colorado Springs y Arapahoe Community College).
Después de enviar una aplicacion, nos comunicaremos para programar una entrevista de 30 minutos para conocerlo un poco más y ver si este programa sería una buena opción.
