While we will not be together this June in Cincinnati, we are still working hard on events and activities to stay connected. One of these ways is through a YOTA special event station. During the week of June 21-26, when the camp was supposed to take place, we will have a special event station on the air using the callsign W8Y. We hope that YOTA campers (You!) will take turns operating as W8Y throughout the week from a station of your choosing.

If you hold an American callsign, you are welcome to sign up for a slot to operate W8Y within your license class limitations. Depending on the volume of the number of interested operators, I will schedule each of you into operating blocks that fit your schedule, and level of commitment. No amount of time is too small, nor is there a minimum station needed, or operator experience required. Any YOTA camper who would like to operate W8Y is invited to join in.
