The Rutgers Adjunct faculty union is excited to invite students, alumni, and community members to our “What is The Gig Academy?” panel discussion on Friday, November 19th at 2:30pm.

We will gather on Zoom to hear stories from Adjunct faculty about their experiences at Rutgers as workers, as they prepare to demand a better contract and job security. We will discuss how the corporatization of universities affects students and how the fight against adjunctification fits into broader and current movements for labor justice (#striketober!). The discussion will be followed by a Q & A session where students and community members can ask any questions they have. Please join us by filling out this form to register.
